DOUGHNUTS WITH ROSE YOUGRT

***Ingredients***
Self-raising flour                                2, 1/4 cup
Almonds (grounded)                         1/2 cup
Plain Yogurt                                      1/3 cup
Warm water                                      1/4 cup
Rosewater                                         1 tsp
Ghee or oil                                        for deep-frying
Icing sugar                                        for dusting
***For Sweet yogurt***
Plain Yogurt                                      1 cup
Rosewater                                         1/2 tsp
Icing sugar                                        1 tbsp

****Cooking Directions****
****For sweet yogurt***
1. Combine yogurt, rosewater and sifted icing sugar in a small bowl and mix well.
2. Combine sifted flour and almonds in a large bowl and rub in ghee.
3. Combine yogurt, water and rosewater together.
4. Now gradually add it to the flour mixture and knead to form smooth dough.
5. Move dough onto lightly floured surface.
6. Divide dough into 32 portions.
7. Roll portions into balls.
8. Melt extra ghee for deep-frying in medium saucepan.
9. Deep-fry doughnuts a few at a time for about 6 minutes or until golden brown.
10 .Remove from pan and drain on absorbent paper.
11. Toss hot doughnuts in icing sugar.
12. Serve with sweet yogurt.
